Rock of Ages Auditions
Get ready to crank up the volume and relive the glory days of big hair, wild nights, and epic guitar solos! Rock of Ages is the ultimate jukebox musical packed with the greatest rock anthems of the ‘80s—from Journey to Bon Jovi to Whitesnake. It’s loud, it’s funny, it’s over-the-top, and it’s a party every single night. If you’ve ever dreamed of belting out power ballads or rocking leather and sequins under the spotlight, this is the show for you.
Audition Info:
Auditions will take place at the Lucille Shuffler Center located at 2011 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington, NC on Monday, October 6, 2025. Individual vocal auditions will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by a group dance call at 8:00 PM. Callbacks will immediately follow at 9:00 PM and may include additional singing and cold reads. All auditionees are asked to prepare a selection from the show, with specific vocal materials available to review in advance. Please look at the button below for the link to vocal selections required for each character and the ensemble. An accompanist will be provided. Rehearsals will begin in mid-November, and performances run December 31 – January 11. Questions? Email us at the form below.

The above list usually occurs on day 1. Day 2 of auditions will be for callbacks, which will include readings (sides provided.) At which time, participants may be asked to read for multiple roles.
After the OHTC staff reaches a consensus, cast is notified via email. Our casting emails are typically sent within 2 weeks of auditions -though timelines may vary.
